Cixi Jieda Nanometer Composite Co., Ltd. is situated in the north of Cixi, 100km away from Hangzhou. Here is very convenient in traffic with Ningbo Port and Ningbo Airport in the east and Hangyong Expressway runs through the whole Cixi. The company holds a land area of 75 mu (1 mu =1/15 hectare) and has factory area approximately 45,000 square meters. It specializes in the production of a wide range of plastic monofils and composites. It has a registered capital of 1.20 million yuan and 260 personnel including 50 managerial staff and 30 technical staff, among whom eight technicians are with senior professional titles and one is research fellow. It achieved 260 million yuan of annual sales in 2005. Its new workshop was built in 2006 to cater to ever growing production demand, and had been put into operation in the October.

Upon the instructions of Dc. Ma Yongmei and other experts of the Institute, we apply ourselves to technological innovation and development and product upgrading constantly. In 2001, our antibiosis nylon wire, PBT tagging wire and PA nanometer corrugated wire were selected as Ningbo New Products and nylon 6/clay nanometer composite was approved as Ningbo scientific achievement to industrialize; in 2002, polypropylene (PP) nanometer silica-based oxide special-shape wire was approved as Ningbo New Product and PA nanometer corrugated wire was approved as Ningbo Scientific-technical Cooperation Project. In 2003, PBT/PET composite tagging wire, nylon corrugated grinding wire were selected as Ningbo New Products, and the PBT/PET composite tagging wire was also selected as country-level torch program of 2004, and nylon corrugated grinding wire was selected as country-level key new product project of 2004; in 2005, high performance negative ion health protection brush wire and Imitation bristle brush wire were selected as country-level torch program and country-level new product. These products have won the great recognition of experts on their innovation and technological contents, and considerable economic benefit has been achieved.
